onsen bliss near bamboo forest

convenient location peaceful atmosphere
the hotel is very close to many attractions and shopping areas. i found the location very convenient since it is across from one station and within walking distance of another. the onsen experience was good and the facilities provided a peaceful atmosphere within the city.
i noticed the reception staff was not helpful when the bar was closed. they did not offer any alternatives for getting drinks. this made it difficult to relax and unwind after a long day.
Location

the hotel has an excellent location across the river from main attractions. it is conveniently across from a train station and a short walk to another. this made exploring the area very easy.
Facilities
10/10
the hotel features private onsen available without reservation. a full public bath with multiple amenities is also available. there is no footwear allowed in the entire hotel.

The hotel's proximity to the train station was perfect. It made getting around so easy. i also enjoyed the private onsen, it was like such a treat after a long day.
The room did feel somewhat outdated. the city tax at checkout came as a surprise.
